The approved front image will be analyzed to identify its actual components.
Preparation uses Images/GPT editing. Every reference remains reviewable before any Tripo charge.
01 · CLEAN REFERENCE
Front reference
Approve the front reference, then analyze boundaries, deformation and UV seams. Analysis does not generate component images.
Editable parts
Tripo separates the 3D model directly from the whole reference. No exploded image is needed.
Rigging plan & component details
Keep deforming skin connected; split rigid pieces at real attachment boundaries. UV seams do not require mesh cuts. Left/right is anatomical. The plan is guidance: Tripo chooses its own segmentation and Blender verification remains required.
Advanced · edit components
Changing names or instructions invalidates the affected references.
Ready for 3D
One model with editable parts. Add textures and a rig in Blender.
Continue to Generate 3D →Experiment B · exploded parts sheet
Tripo does not document a pieces-per-image limit or guarantee reconstruction of a collage. This experiment prepares one sheet containing the planned components with empty gaps and consistent scale. Inspect every piece before approval; pieces can still merge or disappear in 3D. A second sheet would be a separate paid task, not another multiview angle.
Review settings for one experimental model →Advanced · multiview for higher fidelity
For a single model, prepare 2–4 consistent images. Front is mandatory; the order is front, left, back, right. “Left” means the subject’s left side. Every view is a separate reference, never a contact sheet sent to Tripo.
Changing or regenerating the front invalidates dependent side views. Start with single-view references unless you need greater fidelity.
